I SAVED 99.25% AT CVS!!!!

I got 4 jugs of Clorox, 4 boxes of Kleenex, 2 packs of gum, 1 pack of antacid tablets, 8 tubes of toothpaste, 8 bottles of Herbal Essences shampoo, 1 canister of Windex wipes, 1 Bodiheat, 1 Valentine's Day candy hearts, 4 CVS brand cotton face wipes and 3 of the Lysol air fresheners. (I gave one of the Lysols, 4 of the cotton face wipes, and the V-day candy to the cashiers for helping me out and letting me do all these transactions, therefore they are not in this picture.)

This stuff is already promised. The Clorox and Kleenex goes to family, the shampoo to the church, and the toothpaste to Afghanistan. So awesome to be able to do so much for so little!

Saved: $147.54 (after CVS cards and manufacturer's coupons)

Spent: $3.18 oop

Rebate: $2.50

Total cost after rebate and cost of stamp = $1.10 oop

$1.10 / $147.54 = 99.25% savings

The above pics are the same stash. (Sorry for the poor quality...my digital camera battery is dead so I had to use my cell phone.) I got 16 Stayfrees, 4 Ritz crackers, 2 Wheat Thins,1 CVS ibuprofen, 1 can of hairspray, and 2 Colgates for $3.76 oop!! I lost only about 45 cents in ECBs and saved over $84!!! That's a savings of 96%! That's like having a 96% off sale, which is almost completely free.

The Stayfrees get donated to church for the food/goods ministry, and the Ritz's, Wheat Thins, and Colgate to the troops. I'm getting together some stuff from my deals to send over there.

Best part of all, this was ridiculously easy to do and I have enough q's to get some more of the above tomorrow!

Before you start emailing me, telling me why you don't believe in this war or how the media told you that you were misled, let me tell you this: I could NOT care less how you feel about the war or how you think you can't support what you don't believe in. I really, really don't. So save the emails. Our guys and girls are over there and deserve our support, no matter what your opinion. If it were your son, daughter, brother or sister, you would be supporting them no matter what the media tells you to believe.

I've recently spoken on the phone with a soldier in Afghanistan. Through that and emails, he has told me of this site and how we can send things to soldiers through it. He even offered to help out by organizing things on his end to ensure the soldiers with him get the things we send in a fair way. If you would be interested in the least bit, let me know. I plan on sending some things very soon. Many of you who read this have items you got very cheaply, for free, or made a profit on. If you can spare some of them (how much toothpaste do you need?!?), let me know. I'll talk to him to find out the best way to go about this.

Understanding the Walgreens Register

I just read a good article HERE describing how to handle the register at Walgreens. It can be difficult, but in my experience I have had cashiers that had sense and knew how to ring it up. And for the few who were clueless, I just told them to adjust the coupon down or how to enter it in and it worked. (I did not do anything wrong; a good deal is not worth answering for that one day.)

CVS Deals for Feb 8-14

This is by far not the best week at CVS. The only deal I think I'll be doing is the free Fusion Razors. I haven't bought a razor since March 2008 and won't have to til at least March 2017, but I'm going to get more if they are giving them out.

Here's a tip: Make friends with all the employees of your CVS. They will HOOK YOU UP with good stuff if they know you are coming. And always check the clearance section. Some stores have complete junk that they could not give away. (How many beat up boxes of old Sucrets can one store have?) Others have really good stuff that you can save almost 100% on, especially with a coupon. So it is worth your time to take a look.
